Founded in 2002, Do Right’s mission is to share the best new jazz, soul, funk and hip hop sounds with like-minded souls. Over the last decade, Do Right has earned a worldwide reputation as one of Canada’s most visionary and eclectic record labels. It’s only fitting that the man who has been such an inspiration to Do Right and championed so many of our artists, the great Gilles Peterson, will be coming all the way from London to headline the Do Right! 10YRS event in the vintage dancefloor splendour of The Great Hall. 

As a DJ, broadcaster, producer, compiler, label boss and record collector, music has been the bottom line for Gilles Peterson for close to three decades. This legendary tastemaker’s passion and enthusiasm are unfailing and deeply infectious. His knowledge, opinions and playlists are universally respected. We are honoured that he found time in his busy schedule and make an exclusive appearance for this special anniversary celebration.

This incredible night of music will reunite Toronto's Movement collective (DJs A Man Called Warwick, Aki, Jason Palma, Nav and John Kong) to once again rock the dancefloor with the sounds that redefined the Toronto club scene; with live performances by Do Right artists The Slakadeliqs and Maylee Todd. Also on the decks is DJ Catalist.
